Does Cellulite Go Away With Diet And Exercise?

You can reduce the visibility of cellulite using diet and exercise.

Depending on where you’re starting and your current health, the idea of cellulite completely disappearing overnight won’t happen.

Over time you can dramatically reduce cellulite and get to a healthy weight by taking control of your nutrition, using a healthy diet, and strength training.

And more…

Reducing stress, improving sleep quality, and blood flow all help reduce fat.

Can You Get Rid Of Cellulite Once You Have It?

You can reduce fat cells however fat cells do not disappear. Take a look at this video done by Dr Berg and you’ll get a much clear understanding of what cellulite is and how you can reduce it.

Here’s another look at how to get rid of cellulite by Dr Dray who’s a Dermatologist.

Do Cellulite Treatments Work?

It’s a little difficult to work out what’s real, and what’s a wild claim. Some claim attacking the fibrous connective tissue with a laser is the way to go.

There are expensive treatments and operations you can have.

Before you race off to spend any of your money on treatments or operations, your nutrition is the first thing you have to get in order. If you want a lean, mean, sexy body what you eat plays a vital role.

Then you’re going to want to do strength training.

How To Reduce Body Fat

You’ve got to get your nutrition dialed in because it’s difficult to reduce fat when your diet is crap.

Your nutrition has the biggest impact on how your body looks. Simply by cleaning up your diet you’ll probably eat fewer calories a day. Because shitty food has higher calories in it.

If you reduce your daily calorie intake by 500 calories a day, do strength training, and drink plenty of water. You’ll start to reduce the sizes of your fat cells, which reduces cellulite.

Losing Body Fat Without Cardio

Cardio is NOT The Answer to fat loss.

Often cardio is the worse thing you could do if you want to lose fat.

What you eat feeds the fat or reduces fat. If you’re not sure what or how you should eat to reduce body fat levels, talk to a nutrition coach.

Look for a nutrition coach that doesn’t show bias toward wacky, extreme, stupid diets. Because diet eating is important for you and if the diet is extreme and wacky, you won’t last long.

This video shows you why exercise isn’t the solution to fat loss:

How Long Does It Take To Get Rid Of Cellulite With Exercise?

If you’re just using exercise to reduce fat, it’s going to take a long time. Aerobic exercise isn’t the best option for reducing fat levels in the body.

This sum shows you why:

In 1kg of fat there are 7,700 calories.

And let’s say some genius on the internet says, “cycling is a great way to burn fat.”

If you divide 7,700 calories that make up 1kg of body fat by the 720 calories you might burn riding at 200 watts for one hour, it will take you 10 hours, 69 minutes to burn 1kg of fat.

Let’s assume the majority of people have more than 1kg of body fat to lose. And for most 720 calories an hour is on the high side. Meaning most people would never get near burning 720 calories an hour.

What You Eat Has A Significant Impact On Body Fat Levels

This is why is much easier to get your nutrition sorted out and eat 500 fewer calories a day, then weight loss comes easier.

Eating a low fat diet consisting of lean proteins, and vegetables, and avoiding sugar and alcohol significantly helps.

Effective Lower Body Exercises:

  • Lunges are great for legs
  • Laying or seated hamstring curls
  • Step-ups onto a bench or fitness step
  • Walking Lunges
  • Glute Machine
  • Goblet squats
  • Trap-Bar deadlifts

Can Exercise Get Rid Of Cellulite Naturally?

Exercise helps especially strength training. If you want firm, tight body composition, you need to build muscle.

Because without adequate muscle mass you’re going to struggle to get that firm tight body.

Summary Does Exercise And Diet Get Rid Of Cellulite?

You can’t completely get rid of cellulite, however, you can significantly reduce it.

Your nutrition, and what you eat plays a critical role, which is why your focus should first go to getting your nutrition dialed in.

Look at your stress levels, if you’re stressed, it’s hard to lose weight.

Get more sleep or better quality sleep. Poor quality sleeps increase weight gain.

Certain exercises like strength training are 100 times more potent for your body than any form of cardio. Because, without muscle mass, your body cannot get firm, athletic, and reduce body fat.

When someone does not do strength training their body looks, soft, weak, doughy and parts wobble.

The thing with fat loss is…

You need a long-term mindset approach here because results don’t come overnight or even this week.

When you’re consistent, eating healthy, working out with weights, drinking water, reducing stress, getting more sleep. You’re giving your body the best possible chance to fight cellulite.

Because the better your body works, the more weight you lose… and you get that tight, firm body.
