Does Working Out At Night Make You Gain Weight?

Sharing is caring!

Do you want to hear something that’s just a little mind-blowing-lee exciting about losing and gaining ugly body fat?

It doesn’t matter when you work out.

Do you want to know why the time of day doesn’t fucking matter?

Yeah, I said fucking because the time of day for workouts is the least of your worries, hear me out.

Because an exercise routine is the least potent factor when it comes to fat loss. There’s 4 other critical pieces of the fat loss puzzle that are more important than exercise and what time you do it.

I’ll get to those 4 other critical pieces in just a moment for you.

The thing is…

If you want to lose ugly body fat and keep it off then you’ve landed in the right place.

What Cause Weight Gain?

When a person eats more daily calories than they need, they gain weight. When a person eats shitty food over a long period of time, what happens is, fat cells in their body grow, and get fatter, and fatter.

Some foods make people fatter much faster.

Highly processed foods eaten over long periods of time make you fat, and so does excess sugar and alcohol consumption.

Simply by cleaning up your diet you can start losing weight. After you’ve done that very simple step you might reduce your calories by 500 a day.

Healthy foods look like food in the picture right below:

Is Working Out At Night Good For Weight Loss?

If you don’t like working out at the end of the day because you’re tired and beat down from work. Then night workouts are a shit idea for you.

Don’t work out at the end of the day.

You’re busy, so what time of day suits you best to work out?

If it’s the morning great, if it’s between 9am and 12pm great. If the afternoon works, great. If it’s in the evening, great.

Because here’s what…

The best time of day for you to work out, is a time you can stick to, day in, and day out. And importantly be consistent with working out at the same time each day.

SO the best time of day is the time that works for you and your life.

If you’re eating healthy and using the right type of exercise routine, it doesn’t matter what hour of the day you work out.

Is It Better To Workout In The Morning Or At Night To Lose Weight?

The time of day you work out has little to no impact on your weight loss.

If you eat shit food, and you train with little to no effort. Then it doesn’t matter when you work out because you’re wasting your time.

Instead of worrying about what time of day to work out, get hyper-focused on your nutrition. Get your nutrition dialed in and you’ll be laughing at how easy it is to lose fat.

FOUR Principles That Have Faster Impact On Weightloss Than The Time Of Day You Exercise

People become obsessed with “the best time” to work out. “The best exercise routine” to do.

Hear me when I say none of that shit matters and I’ll prove it to you.

Here’s what’ll have a greater impact on your fat loss than the time of day or any other nonsense.

ONE: Sleep

Sleep has miracle-like powers on your body.

You look and feel like shit without quality sleep.

If your sleep sucks, then how in the world can you expect your body to function correctly?

When you sleep your body cleans, repairs, and recharges itself. Now if you’re someone who doesn’t get enough sleep, guess what?

You’re like a smartphone with 5% battery life left and no charger in sight. Useless.

Oh, and get this…

Research has now proven direct links between poor sleep and being overweight and obese. For some folks, enough sleep is the key to instantly unlocking fat loss.

Disrupt sleep isn’t good for you either.

TWO: Stress Levels

If you’re stressed out, your body is constantly revving.

The consistent and ongoing increase in heart rate, and the elevated levels of stress hormones and of blood pressure, may start to take a toll on your body. This long-term ongoing stress can increase the risk for hypertension, heart attack, or stroke.

So if you’re stress levels are high, and high often, you’re going to struggle to lose weight.

THREE: Nutrition

The fastest way to lose ugly unwanted body fat is through your nutrition. You don’t need to go on a diet, what you need to do is clean up your nutrition.

Meat, fish, chicken, dairy, vegetables, fruit, beans… these are all healthy foods.

Fat loss is easier through nutrition than exercise, let me show you.

Why Fat Loss Through Exercise Sucks

In 1kg of fat there are 7,700 calories.

And let’s say some genius on the internet says, “cycling is a great way to burn fat.”

If you divide 7,700 calories that make up 1kg of body fat by the 720 calories you might burn riding at 200 watts for one hour, it will take you 10 hours, 69 minutes to burn 1kg of fat.

Let’s assume the majority of people have more than 1kg of body fat to lose. And for most 720 calories an hour is on the high side. Meaning most people would never get near burning 720 calories an hour.

If you want an easier, faster, and more effective way to lose weight, dial in your nutrition, stop feeding the fat, and you’ll notice your waistline shrinks much faster.

FOUR: The Type Of Exercise You Do Is Important Too

If you insist on a workout routine of cardio and no strength training, then you’ll have to settle for a body that’s a smaller shapeless version of what you are now.

One of the secrets to looking years younger than your age, not gaining weight, and enjoying all the benefits of a body that looks and feels sexy, lean, tight, and nothing wobbles… is strength training.

Why Strength Training Is Critically Important For Your Body & Weight Loss

As you age, if you are not doing any form of strength training with the aim to get stronger.

Guess what?

Your muscle mass is shrinking.

Shrinking muscle mass becomes a problem for you because your body looks soft, doughy, weak, and out-of-shape.

Because your muscles shrink you get weaker, which makes it harder to do simple tasks you currently take for granted. Like walking up and downstairs, carry your groceries to the car.

Don’t panic…

You can do strength training any time of day, there is no best time. The best time is the time that works each day for you.

Train to get stronger because then your body looks lean, firm, tight, and sexy.

Is It Okay If I Workout At Night?

Sure, evening workouts are great if they suit your busy life.

If early morning workouts suit you better, then please do not change your workout schedule in the hope night workouts reduce your body weight.
